Urge Urinary Incontinence

Urge urinary incontinence (UUI) means you feel a sudden, strong need to urinate and sometimes can’t make it to the bathroom in time, leading to leaks. It’s often linked to the bladder being extra sensitive or “overactive,” not anything you did wrong. Pelvic floor muscle training teaches the muscles around your bladder and urethra to be stronger and more in control. With regular practice, these exercises can help calm urgency, cut down how often you need to go, and reduce or even stop leakage over time.
